Originally the home of Allen and Ava McPhaul. Their son, Alan, acquired 5 homes within the future site of the park in the 1960's, after the town formally announced it's intention to acquire all the remaining private property to become a park.

Location

Brightwood Park is on the North end of Prospect Street. Go past Franklin School and look for the entrance on the left.
