Trail Maps
Brightwood Park offers 1.4 miles of hiking/walking trails through undisturbed woods and around a large pond.
As Noel Taylor noted in his 1981 book on the local plants and animals, Brightwood is a "quiet sanctuary for all lovers of nature where one can relax and listen to the sounds of nature, enjoy it's beauty or begin to understand the lesson that man depends on wildlife for survival." Mr Taylor's book still remains an excellent guide to Brightwood. |

a Green Oasis
Surrounded by suburban development, Brightwood Park’s trees stand as an oasis. This patch of trees cleanses our air, provides oxygen to breathe, filters underground water, and provides shelter for all kinds of wildlife.
It is why we are so passionate about these 44 acres!
